Peggy Meeks Murfee
Peggy Meeks Murfee, 81, died peacefully on January 11, 2019, at Signature HealthCare of Roanoke Rapids, NC.
She was born in Pitt County, NC, and was the daughter of Jo Frances Cooper.
She is survived by her loving husband, Ray Murfee; daughter, Mandy McLarin (John); son, Harrison Murfee, Jr. (Jil); grandchildren, Kendall Walker (John Michael), Kelsea Ward (Brian), Blair McLarin, Kayla Murfee, and Harrison Murfee, III; sister, Norma Blalock; sister-in-law, Linda Cooper; brother-in-law, Gary Petree; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Peggy was often referred to as "Mrs. Clean" because of her perfection and dedication to a clean home.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, March 30, 2019, from 12:00 to 3:00 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall of New Testament Christian Church in Roanoke Rapids, NC.
